Kornegay Fabrication employs a high-definition CNC plasma cutting table. Plasma cutting works by sending an electric arc through pressurized gas (air, oxygen, argon), which heats the gas to the point of reaching the fourth state of matter, plasma. Our plasma table is capable of cutting material up to 1.5″ thick with speed and accuracy. We can cut steel, stainless steel, and aluminum. Customers can also request our design services to create and perfect parts for a multitude of uses, such as signage, custom parts, and decorative design elements. Parts can be cut from CAD drawings files such as .dxf and .dwg, but we can also create new drawings from images.
